  • Experience: Emily previously worked in the lab of Dr. John Shacka. Her thesis project involved biomedical bench research skills including PCR, generation of time-course-treated cell lysates, and western blot analysis as well as immunocytochemical staining of fixed cells. She also worked in the lab of Dr. Timothy Kraft where she maintained a mouse colony and measured the optokinetic response of mice, as an indicator of visually driven behavior and took electroretinogram (ERG) recordings from anesthetized mice.
