  • Experience: During Eric’s Bachelor’s studies, he helped develop a protocol to isolate subpopulations of mesenchymal stromal cells from human bone marrow with higher stemness than that of existing methods. In 2012, he completed an academic exchange at the University of Michigan, where he joined Professor Russell Taichman’s laboratory to study bone marrow niches for cancer, mesenchymal and hematopoietic stem cells. His Master’s final research project focused on establishing an in vitro model to study the interaction between osteoblasts and hematopoietic progenitors and neoplastic cells.
