  • Experience: Prior to enrolling at Van Andel Institute Graduate School, Joe spent three years in Dr. Radmila Stanic’s lab at Purdue University Northwest performing research on a thesis project titled “Isolation and characterization of alveolar macrophage derived exosomes and CFTR. He then worked as a lab assistant at Purdue University Northwest for two years and, for two-and-a-half years, served as a lab instructor for courses in basic microbiology, introduction to animal physiology, genetics and introduction to cell biology.
